Never. Your resume will not be distributed anywhere without your prior consent. Your Recruiter will discuss the job description, location, work environment and any applicable information with you before sending your resume to any of our clients.
W2 employees are on weekly pay cycle and get paid every Friday.
Convergenz has a rigid Independent Contractor qualification process that each Independent Contractor must complete in order to qualify for this status. In these cases the Independent is typically on net 30 terms.
As our W2 employee, Convergenz will take care of your payroll deductions for you. If you are an Independent Contractor, you or your employer will be responsible for your own payroll deductions. Convergenz has a rigid Independent Contractor qualification process that each Independent Contractor must complete in order to qualify for this status.
Convergenz is your employer. We provide paychecks and benefits to our W2 Contractors. If you have concerns about your assignment you should contact your Recruiting Manager or HR for assistance.
The length of time varies greatly depending on your skills and current market conditions. After meeting with a Recruiter and evaluating your skills and needs, the process can be very fast. Specialized skills, location preference, requirements, rates and the market can extend this period of time.
Yes, We offer a health care plan that you may opt to enroll in at the time you are hired or during the annual open enrollment period. After 90 Days you also qualify for a self-contributing 401K Plan.
This is a very common concern. At Convergenz, we are accustomed to handling your situation in a very discrete manner. During your initial conversation, we will discuss what method of communication would work best for you.
Less obstacles and more options. Convergenz removes the common hurdle of most clients not wanted to work directly with Independent Contractors due to tax and co-employment liability. Options in the form of opportunities with our clients that you would not have access otherwise.
Options, speed and communication. Convergenz will present multiple opportunities, with exclusive rights to support many of them. Your recruiter will keep you informed and we have direct contact with the hiring manager to facilitate quick feedback throughout the entire process.
